We partner with city and county parks to create recreationally accessible and engaging fitness areas that serve diverse communities. Our equipment helps transform local parks and users of all abilities can enjoy exercise that is fun, safe, and free.
Making Good Parks Great for Everyone
Adding outdoor fitness equipment to a park creates an inclusive space where everyone can participate. Visitors who had been bystanders at parks can get involved and feel like they have a place of belonging.
The intuitive, engaging, and accessible design of Greenfields’ outdoor fitness equipment makes it easy for visitors of varying life stages to work out on their own time. Older users can socialize while being active, and parents can exercise while watching the kids play. Teens who have aged out of traditional playgrounds can remain engaged and active.
Parents: Greenfields’ adjustable resistance units include bidirectional pistons and Safe-Stop technology that eliminate the risk of recoil, making them safe to have near playgrounds. This is great for parents who want to make the most of their limited time by exercising as they watch their children play.
Seniors: Help seniors build strength, balance, and mobility that prevents falls and keeps them independent with our low-impact options.
Teens and young adults: Ninja Courses and obstacle courses provide exhilarating challenges that create a place for teens and young adults to engage in outdoor physical activity without requiring them to play an organized sport.
People in wheelchairs: Create an inclusive space where those with mobility impairments have a recreationally accessible activity option that does not require them to transfer out of their wheelchair.

What People Are Saying
“This [Ninja Course] is groundbreaking for us as a city. There aren’t really many playground opportunities for older teenagers or adults, and this is really unique and provides an amenity that will bring people into this park location. We have fitness equipment in other parks that we love, but it’s not quite as active in the same way.”
Helen McAlary, Director of Life & Culture for City of Ontario, CA
“This addition benefits the community in that we didn’t have specific equipment such as this, that really is for everyone — from the beginning user to the advanced user.”
John Rebar, Parks and Recreation Director, Miami, FL
“What we were thinking of was developing a space for parents and others who could possibly work out at the same time that they were having their kids play. And so we put it in the vicinity where it’s so easy for them to come out, and while their children are playing, they can watch them, and they can go ahead and get a good workout in… It serves the underprivileged community, because not everyone can afford to go to a gym where they’re paying a monthly fee. Here, it’s free. Come on out, enjoy the community, enjoy the park, and enjoy your workout.”
