Laughter, smiles, and determination filled the air as Woodcreek Middle School students rushed their new Ninja Course at its Grand Opening.
Located in Humble, Texas, Woodcreek Middle School was thrilled to see the warm reception of their new Ninja Course, designed by Greenfields Outdoor Fitness. Humble ISD wanted to push their students, so they customized their finish wall by adding two feet to its typical height, making this one 12 feet tall. Further, this course included Step-Up Clamps to make it easier for teens of all heights to reach each obstacle.
“The students love it,” reported Woodcreek Middle School’s Principal, Dr. Alan Moy, when asked how the course was received. “It’s an awesome time to come out and be able to challenge yourself during the day. I think we focus so much on academics sometimes, we forget about the physical piece and being able to have a physical release. And so when these kids come out and they have a challenge, and they also have a consistent apparatus that’s going to be out here, it’s an awesome thing to have for them.”
The course’s customized color selection of black poles and customized signage also add to the school spirit. Still, this course does so much more than bringing students together and making fitness fun; it brings the community together. Available for public use after school lets out, this Woodcreek’s Ninja Course encourages families to share laughs as they traverse the obstacles together and allows students to improve their strength and endurance outside of class.
